The restaurant whose interior design is characterized with ethno house elements and the restaurant terrace in rustical style, offers national cuisine specialties, a rich local specialties menu, abundance of eco-products and organic origin products, a privilege characteristically for the region of Berovo: Maleshevska tava, the mountain potatoe, Berovo cheese, bulamach, kachamak with homemade butter and ribs, home baked bread, poparnik, grandma’s cake, forest fruits jam… These and many more will awake your senses with tastes never to be forgotten.

Maleshevska tava, made with several kinds of fresh meat, a couple of types of mushrooms, vegetables, spices, .. all mixed together  provide a very special flavor.

Kachamak

Kachamak with homemade butter which gives it a unique taste, with ribs and Beovo’s white cheese, a specialty taking us back at the tables set by our grandmothers

Bulamach

Bulamach is a milk specialty which can only be tasted in the Maleshevo region. Its remarkable taste can not be compared with anything tried before.

Zelnik (pie)

Home made pie prepared by the cooks in “Manastir”, an association of delicious meal especially if combined with the diary specialties characteristic for this region.

Lamb

Maleshevo lamb, widely known specialty which no holiday can do without, appealing to the eye, a taste never tried before, a gastronomic enjoyment for degustation.

Maleshevsko makalo

A dripping sauce made from potatoes, vegetables and spices, served in a specific manner, in a “doll” made from home made rye bread, which completes the taste of tradition.

Mountain potatoes

Mountain potatoes, yellowish as a chestnut, prepared from carefully selected pieces, a real representative of the special taste mountain potatoes give, specially the ones grown on the slopes of the Maleshevo mountains.

Grandma’s cake

A cake hiding the secret of skilful housewives, each layer made with huge experience and knowledge, reminding of the taste of love.

 

Within the restaurant terrace there is traditional oven "furna" in which we prepare a large number of specialties of the "Monastery" cusine
